Great Grand Master C. I. Kim used to teach the Black Belt classes in Tang Soo Do/Karate and Tae Kwon Do at Kennedy's Martial Arts Academy.

Training in Korean Martial Arts for over 70 years.

Has been teaching Korean Martial Arts for over 60 years.

Has been teaching Korean Martial Arts in the United States since 1970.

Grand Master Kim is currently ranked as a 10th degree Black Belt in Korean Martial Arts, and is one of the highest ranking Black Belts in the country in Tang Soo Do.

Trained the Korean Military for three and a half years in self defense tactics and techniques.

Trained the Seoul police department officers for three years in self defense tactics and techniques.

Captain of the Seoul police department Tae Kwon Do Team for three years in which they were undefeated as a team.

Witnessed and new many participants in the very first Tae Kwon Do Black Belt testing held in 1965 by the Korea Taekwondo Association.

Great Grand Master Kim was like a father to both Grand Masters Patrick and Marie Kennedy. Great Grand Master Kim is greatly missed by the staff of Kennedy's Martial Arts Academy, and especially by Grand Masters Patrick and Marie Kennedy. Great Grand Master Kim has entrusted Grand Masters Patrick and Marie Kennedy to continue to train students today, the same way they were taught, to become the "BEST" they can be.
